Time flies and it is almost the end of March ALREADY! yea and I have nothing much to write about my life as my life has been plain and simple (which I like...hate dramas)...haha..so I decided to share my movie experience with you guys.I will divide it into two categories which are movies watched in cinemas and some movies from other sources (ahem!)...and not forgotten the most valuable ratings and review summary (AHEM again..)for each of the movies. I really hope that you guys would bare with me because I have always wanted to be a movie critic and this is the best chance to see if you have the same movie taste with me or not...(which more than 90% of you disagree with me). Here goes the list:
Movies watched in Cinema:
1.) Valentine's Day 3/10 (Awfully produced, awful script, but solid performance though)
2.) Wolfman, The 4/10 (Strong performance dilluted with weak plots and unnecessary gore, Nice CGI though)
3.) Alice In the Wonderland 3D 6.5/10 (Strong performance and great special effects but not focus on plot)
Movies watched in other sources:
1) Surrogates 2/10 (Awfully done, awful performance from Bruce Willis, great CGI though)
2) A Perfect Getaway 7/10 ( unusual thriller packed with twisting plot, gripping and unforgettable ending)
3) Where the Wild Things Are 7/10 ( great work from Spike Jones with great CGI but came in an unusual pace)
4) Whip It! 8/10 ( great directorial debut for Drew Barrymore...Roller dearby has never look this good and anchored by the powerful and mesmerizing performance by the lovely and cute Ellen Page)
5) Invention of Lying, The 6/10 (Creative and funny but not the best from Ricky Gervais. Might be funny at first but feels annoying an couldn't wait for the end of it)
6) Food.Inc 10/10!!!! (A must watch documentary where you need to know where your food came from and how you should eat!)
7) It's Complicated 6/10 ( Strong performance by the 3 actors overshadowed by the miserable plot)
8) Saw VI 6.5/10 ( For me it's second best after SAW 1. Finally it comes with a story and not just torturing people without logical reason)
9) Law Abiding Citizen 6/10 (Strong performance from Gerald Butler but the movie tried to be clever and failed due to the familiar and illogical plot)
10) Couples Retreat 1/10 ( Way too awful to review...have no idea where to start...Awfully done from start to bottom...)
11) Michael Jackson's This Is It 7.5/10 ( A best way to pay tribute to MJ and a nice documentary concert as well!)
12) Jennifer's Body 6/10 ( Awful performance from Megan Fox....but at least the plot is fresh)
13) Fantastic Mr. Fox, The 9/10 ( Paul WS Anderson's vision on this movie has been wonderful...Strong performance..or should say voice and action by all the actors and not forgettingto mention that it is a very very cute movie!)
14) From Paris with Love 4/10 (A sublime and predictable plot powered by the strong performance of John travolta)
15) Poker King 1/10 (What an awful HK movie with bad acting...bad script, used too much slapstick....but made it a bit watchable by putting a few gorgeous girl...the title itself is awful....)
16) Black Dynamite 8/10 (Yea, it's a true blaxsploitation movie powered by the performance of Michael Jay White, it's funny, clever though the plot is familiar..but it is still kick ass!)
