Golden Globe Prediction

Few hours to go before the ceremony begins and here I am making some quick predictions on the winner for the movies category:

Best Motion Picture - Drama
Social Network: It exceeds expectations from the audiences and critics with its story and strong performance. Not forgetting a fine work by David Fincher. The King's Speech might be a crowd pleaser, but it lacks its appeal to the audience. It is time to award the best picture to the movie which is critcally and financial acclaimed!!

Best Actress - Drama
Natalie Portman for Black Swan - Boy oh boy....i don't know how to describe her performance because she is outstanding in every sense and every angle. It is time for her to be recognised as a good actress as she was snubbed a few times. From slimming down to intensive training for ballet to powerful performance, she deserve it.

Best Actor - Drama
Colin Firth - The King's Speech
He was snubbed last year though he was damn great in A single man. But now he is back and this time he plays King George. This is an uphill challenge as it is not easy to emulate a King. Well, Hellen Mirren scored an Oscar for The Queen, so Colin Firth might just nick it.
James Franco is outstanding in 127 hours, who knows, he might just snatched it again from Colin Firth

Best Motion Picture - Comedy
The Kids Are Alright - Outstanding film comes with original plots and not forgetting daring and powerful performance, they deserve to win it. I don't see any other films deserve it.

Best Actress - Comedy
Annette Benning - The Kids Are Alright
It is hard to choose between her and Julianne Moore as they produce daring performance. To get an award, you must be daring (look back to all the previous winners!). Well, Anne Hathaway is daring enough in Love and Other Drugs, but the movie was critically panned. Let's hope that she will wins it.

Best Actor - Comedy
Jake Gyllenhaal - Love and Other Drugs
Powerful and daring performance. Has great chemistry with the opponent. Well done!

No time for comment. Just the winners for the below categories.
